MEMBERSHIP COSTS AND FEES 2025/2026
Joining Mentone Pony Club involves paying an annual fee that is made up of payments which the club passes on to the state and national Pony Club bodies as follows:
Pony Club Victoria (insurance) $150
Pony Club Australia $85.33
Southern Metro Zone $5
Club (instructors, grounds) $252
TOTAL $492.33 per annum
What Your Club Fees Support:
- Qualified Coaches – Regular lessons from experienced, accredited instructors
- Facility Upgrades – Maintaining and improving our grounds, including our cross-country course, arenas, and clubrooms
- New Equipment – Jumps, games gear, and safety items
- Rally Day Resources – Cones, markers, lesson materials, and theory supplies
- Grounds Maintenance – Mowing, weed and rabbit control, fencing
Please note that Pony Club Victoria sets a pro rata fee effective July 1st annually and any fees are automatically deducted at checkout in JustGo!. Pro rata is not applicable for Ready2Ride membership. The Pony Club Australia fee includes insurances.
Working With Children (WWC) Checks
It is mandatory that Pony Club Victoria coaches, contractors, riding members aged 18 years and over and employees obtain a WWCC prior to attending any rally or activity.
Adult supporters (parents / guardians) who attend pony club activities three or more times over a twelve-month period, must also obtain a WWCC.
The WWCC must be uploaded to the membership platform, JustGo! under the individual’s profile.
