Rallies

Attending a Rally at Wallangarra Riding & Pony Club

Rallies are held on a regular basis (usually monthly) commencing in late January through to November.  Members and their families are required to arrive at the Pony Club early on rally day to assist with set up for the rally and stay back at the end of the day to assist with packing away.

Rallies consist of three (3) ridden and one (1) theory session.  Each session runs for 45 minutes with a 15 minute changeover period between classes.  A Program of classes is emailed to riding members prior to the Rally.  Members are required to notify the Rally Co-ordinator of their attendance/non-attendance.  Failure to notify attendance may result in the rider being unable to join lessons on the day.

We have a wonderful team of dedicated and experienced instructors who are assisted by our Chief Instructor.

Each member family is also required to complete a number of formal volunteer duties throughout the year; canteen duty, event preparation and set up, grounds upkeep, club room clean-up etc.

Riders looking to compete in Pony Club WA events must ensure they have attended the minimum number of working rallies and be qualified rider/mount combinations as per State rules.  These rules also apply to rider/mount combinations wanting to participate in the Pony Club Australia Certificate program.

IT IS COMPULSORY FOR EACH RIDER TO HAVE A PARENT/GUARDIAN IN ATTENDANCE THROUGHOUT THE RALLY
